Happy New Year’s, everyone! I hope that you march into 2013 with some attainable resolutions, desires, and dreams. May you and your family have good health, happiness, peace, and prosperity!
I have a lot of personal and business goals/plans/ideas/dreams this year and I can’t wait to start tackling them all with an open heart and mind.
My mother says that 13 is one of her lucky numbers. I pray that it is a lucky number for all of us. Let’s make this year rock!

Bonded Forever wishes that everyone has a wonderful holiday season filled with good company, optimal health, merriment, and plentiful amounts of warm spiced apple cider and hot chocolate.
Bonded Forever’s “Be Brave” Gift Set’s rich brick red, dark green, black, and silver beads suitably match the festive colors of the winter holidays. The bracelets in the gift set will pair well with your cute holiday outfits (and embarrassing, itchy Christmas sweaters). The gift set will also be a thoughtful way to tell someone that you love and support them. Bonded Forever’s whole concept actually was created exactly two years ago when my mother started her first round of chemotherapy in December. The jewelry gift set that I made for my mother, sister, and me during the holidays uplifted our spirits and helped us stay bonded together while my mother bravely battled for her life. You can read more about my company’s inspirational backstory on my About Page.
You can get your “Be Brave” Gift Set today at Bonded Forever’s e-store, www.bondedforeverjewelry.com. Please use the promo code, BRAVE, to received 15% off. The offer expires on December 25, 2012.

I am happy to announce that the Alliance of Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) selected me (Cassandra Hoo), to be a 2013 Fellow in the Building Bridges Fellowship Program. I never felt so honored or excited to wear the name tag pictured above. AWE’s fellowship program selects 3-4 female students and early stage entrepreneurs per year and helps them develop and grow their businesses through education, coaching, mentoring, networking, positivity, and exposure to investment opportunities.
The annual AWE gala event that I attended on Tuesday night was “AWE”-inspiring. It made the acceptance letter into the program a reality and introduced me to a new world of endless possibilities and opportunities. The energy and confidence that many of the guests radiated was palpable. It felt good to be around other go-getters that think big and have desire to make dreams come to fruition.
I can’t wait to have my first meeting with my mentor, Heather Gibson, (Principal at Sentry Art Advisory Services), and my professional life coach, Jill Magerman (Atrio Life Coaches). I already like our team’s dynamic and I truly believe that they are going to help me take Bonded Forever to the next level.

ArtNUDE Philly’s two day opening night at the James Oliver Gallery was a wonderful success. So many people came to the event on both nights to raise money and awareness for the Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation. There was a plethora of beautiful artwork at the show in a variety of different mediums and styles, live music, and meaningful performances. I was honored that my collection of Bonded Forever jewelry made it into the show and I’m happy that it garnered attention, sales, and positive feedback.

(Left to right: Scarred by Lauren Rinaldi, Hope by Chuck Hosier, and She by Pete Checchia)
A lot of the artwork at the show was very thought provoking, graphic, and raw. There was a series of photographs by Jayne Toohey that shook me too my core. The photographs documented a woman’s journey through a double breast reconstruction surgery. I met the woman from the photos at the event and she was so vibrant, full of life, and cancer free (yay!). It was such a wonderful gift to be able to see her still alive and kicking. It’s good to know that there fortunately IS a light at the end of the tunnel for so many people and I hope that the advancement in medicine and research can help save more lives in the future.
I encourage you to go see the show before it closes next month. All proceeds from the show will be donated to the Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation. The James Oliver Gallery is open on Monday-Tuesday (by appointment only), Wednesday-Friday 5-8PM, and Saturdays 12PM-8PM. If you have questions about any of the Bonded Forever jewelry in the in the show, please feel free to send an email to jamesolivergallery@gmail.com or call 267 918 7432. You can also contact Bonded Forever at info@bondedforeverjewelry.com.

Today is a BIG day! Americans (of all genders, races, and religions) are fortunate and lucky enough to have the right to vote for a leader that they believe in. Not all countries have this right or freedom. If you have not already, please go and vote so that you can make a difference and take a stand on what you think will benefit you and your loved ones.

When some people think of Fall, they think of death, decay, and the beginning of darkness. I tend to see the opposite. I think that Fall is a magical, bright, and bountiful time filled with possibility and change. It is a time of year when we get the chance to redefine our goals and how we present ourselves to the world. It is also the time of year when the delicious starchy and sweet crops that were planted during the summer ripen and nourish our bellies and souls. I absolutely love going to the farmer’s market during this time of year and seeing the colorful and lush assortment of apples, squash, gourds, potatoes, dark leafy greens, carrots, radishes, and nuts. The rich greens, reds, oranges, and browns of the season are as comforting as the warm blankets, soft knitted sweaters and accessories, and hot cups of spiced cider or tea that I begin to crave and utilize the minute the air turns crisp and chilly.
This Fall is especially special to me, because I launched Bonded Forever this past September. All of my hard work has yielded my company’s first batch of jewelry. Please go to www.bondedforeverjewelry.com to pick the first fruit of my labors. I look forward to seeing how people respond to my crop so that I can fine tune the growth cycle for the next season.
